hey 4pp, you guys have been using your blog ever since 4pp was founded, do you ever hope to upgrade to a full site rather than a blog similar to other sites such as giantbomb, sarcasticgamer and various others.

Ive noticed a growing increase in video games being recognized by popular culture. Ive read a philosophy book on Zelda, i've seen people legitimately argue that games can be an art form, and ive seen people using video game engines to make enjoyable movie skits, or sometimes feature length films. Do you ever think that video games will be recognized as an full entertainment medium (such as Hollywood movies or novels) or will they be doomed to pathetic Spike.TV award shows, and cheap movie cash ins?

If ya'll had to pick a particular move from any game that you have played (be it a fighting games, First Person shooters, etc.), what would it be and why?

What kind of small/minor details in a game do you personally feel make a game better? For example, I really liked walking to/through the Capitol Building in Fallout 3 and seeing Talon Mercenaries and their robots fighting super mutants and then having the Enclave show up minutes later to join the fight as I snuck around watching.
Things like that really gave me the feeling, at least for a moment, that the game's world didn't rely solely on me to function.

Do you guys think that the FPS genre has become more of a generic type of genre?
The reason why I said it was generic is because most FPS games (in my opinion) have the same objective: run and shoot. There's not a lot of lee-way to put something different, like some puzzles here and there.
So what do you guys think about the FPS genre? Will it die out in the long run?

It seems most games these days can be beaten in a weekend. Assuming you're buying a game new for $60, does two nights of entertainment account for that much money?

What do you think is the most overhyped game that later became a major dissapointment for the video-gamers?
What has been the most emotional cutscene that you have ever watched in a videogame?

So, as we all know, Nintendo has seen fit to have the Wii's primary focus be centered around casual or new gamers. That's great and it does seem to be working; however, they seem to have almost completely forgotten their fan base. I mean I bought the Wii shortly after it's launch but there just haven't been any games this past year that have compelled me, or anyone else it seems, to buy them and dust off the console. How do you feel about this? Is this a wise move on Nintendo's part? Do you think that Nintendo plans to keep it this way or will they gradually start making more games for their fan base?

Dave from LA, California. jtv: davethezombie Does each console necessarily deserve its own exclusive or should some games be ported to other consoles as well? (For example, Valkryia Chonicles has the potential to be on the 360, same could be said for Dead Rising on the PS3)

What do you think of game bonuses? i.e. Pre-order from Best Buy, get a DLC code.
On the flip side of this coin, what do you think of shit bonuses like when you pre-order Patapon 2, you get the patapon 2 demo?
(So people who knows they want the game, gets to play it, and thats it! (Killzone 2 did the same thing.)

Recently, I've had a lot more free time on my hands and decided to check out some new Gaming-Related Podcasts rather than listen to the same episodes of 4PP and the Giant Bombcast *not bashing them, I've just been listening to them too much*. But after finally checking out shows like 1UP Yours and Rebel FM, what other gaming podcasts do you all recommend to download?

Probably a question that has already been answered.
Are you guys surprised at how gaming has become more expensive over the years, and do you think developers would benefit more if they lowered prices due to more people deciding to buy a game because the cost isn't as much of a factor?
Ramble as you like.
Thanks
