I watched it yesterday, and I have to say I found it to be really mediocre.
It was nowhere as good as Street Fighter II's anime movie. The plot felt a bit jumbled, some things were never really explained, there was a lot of talking, but none of it ever seemed to lead anywhere, and for a movie about a fighting series, there is not much fighting to be seen.
There's the one where Viper fights Cammy (and cops a feel lol, if you've seen it, you know what I mean) and there's the fight with Ryu and the villain. Thats pretty much it. And also, I'm not sure if they are going to release another movie to correspond with this one, because if not, it has a lot of random loose ends to tie up.
Anyways, just my opinion on it.

Does it look like those cutscenes from the game? Or are they the same cutscenes from the game?

The animation is pretty good, and no, not the same cutscenes, it's a contained story.

Movie was absolute garbage if you ask me >_> And about the loose ends needing to tie up.
You have to play the game Rab, When you play everyone's story, their intros start up where the movie left off.

since there'll never be another sf snime type movie, I'm giving it more credit, but it easn't anything mind blowing, though it did have it's moments

well imo, i th ought it wasnt that bad. though i watched it with english dubbing and it was horrible. i wanted to strangle the voice actors with a violent passion. Way to go to screw things up. but hte movie goes witht the game. i guess, what i am saying is that you have to see the movie first then beat the game with the key characters and then it will make more sense.
