Basically this series is about a boy (Nagasumi) who was unfortunate enough to drown, but was saved by a mermaid (Seto San). But by seeing her in her mermaid form, she is forced to marry Nagasumi. Another unfortunate fact about San-chan is her family is a yakuza gang. Her father is extremely passonate about her daughter, that he would kill everything in his path, even the "about-to-be" son-in-law.
Anyways, this anime series is ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS. There's a ton of satire and parodies from movies and other anime series. I don't see the reason why no one should overlook this. Most (or should I say all) of the episodes are over-the-top with the voice acting, and the animation is just perfect with the craziness that's going on. If this ever makes to the U.S shores, WATCH IT.
