Finished Fruits Basket yesterday after crack-watching the entire series for 3 days.

Just got through watching Perfect Blue and the first episode of The Irresponsible Captain Tylor.

Perfect Blue was a good mind fuck, I understood what was happening but not really. After watching the movie I read up on the plot just to make sure my speculations were correct. Over all an enjoyable movie but I probably shouldn’t have bought it. It’s more of a rent or d/l in my opinion.

The first episode of Captain Tylor was pretty funny. The humor is sort of childish but I like it. The main plot is also simple but entertaining. I’ve read that it’s a lot like Trigun in that it starts off as a comedy but gets serious later on, if so that’s fine by me. Still too early to judge it but so far so good.

Just finished watching The Irresponsible Captain Tylor and I’ve got to say it was a pretty decent anime. I’ve seen better but the last fifteen or ten minutes of the final episode had me smiling the entire time. ICT has been compared to Trigun in that it starts off goofy and gets more serious as it wears on. Well it’s not really the same. While the last few episodes of Trigun are more serious they show just how much of a badass Vash is. ICT on the other hand is just downright depressing.

I would have liked to see more space battles in ICT because there aren’t really many at all. It also would have been nice had Tylor actually fought some and not just won by dumb luck the entire time. The only time he really seems to shine is near the end of the series right before the depressing episodes come in.

You really have to be in the right mood to watch this show otherwise you’ll think it’s just stupid. I don’t really know what to say about it honestly I’m kind of confused how I feel about it myself. I enjoyed it but some of the episodes and how the characters acted just rubbed me the wrong way. If you’re gonna watch it I’d rent it or download it, have a hard time saying it’s a buy.

Next up is the OVA. Hopefully it’ll be a little better or at least more funny.

Im watching Soul Eater, and Toradora, Naruto Shippuden... I finished seeing bokusatsu tenshi dokuro chan ..is there anymore episodes..only went up to 9..

Can anyone give me some good anime to watch???..I love it all ^.^

Finished the Captain Tylor OVA it was mediocre and unfulfilling besides the first two episodes.

Started Boogiepop Phantom and I’m three episodes in. So far so good.

Just as a warning, later episodes of Boogiepop Phantom will fry your brain if you didn't watch the movie/read the book "Boogiepop and Others".

Anyways...I finally finished Kanon...all I can say is d'awwwwww.

I also finally polished off Pumpkin Scissors. Didn't finish as strong as it started, in my opinion, but it was still alright.

Next on the "to-watch" list is Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid.
