I agree with Setre and recommend Ghost Hunt as well, it was the second to last anime I watched all the way though, and it was really good.
I tried Jigoku Shoujo, but I couldn't get into it.
The last anime I watched was Bokura Ga Ita, which was decided completely due to the post Travis made on the blog a while ago. That anime was an emotional roller coaster, and yet still enjoyable.

Just watched all of FLCL today.
Finished the first disc of Berserk a few days ago, need to start on the second (episode 5? 6? 7?).
Trying to find Romeo x Juliet -somewhere-.
About to start episode 7 of Serial Experiments Lain.
Aaand I'm still working on the latter half of Death Note (episode 26 next) -- but this is my second time through, so that probably shouldn't count. Did buy and watch both of the live-action movies over the past two days, though, and found them to be absolutely amazing.

I was thinking of starting up Ergo Proxy, as I got my hands on all the episodes in HD. Anyone have any comments on that one?

Reading is lame, but manga is pretty much guaranteed to have 90% less shitty filler than anime.

I'm currently following Tower of Druaga: Sword of Uruk, it's an ongoing series and it's great.
I'm reading a ton of stuff, I've been meaning to start Fairy Tail. Heard it was pretty good.

Fairy Tail is a very fun series. The characters are really entertaining, It would be an awesome video game.

Finished watching Chaos;Head the other day and over all it was pretty meh. The only thing that kept me watching was the story which was interesting enough in the beginning but just became too stupid at the end. It was only 12 episodes so it wasn’t too hard to finish. The main character suffered the “Shinji Ikari Syndrome” which made him pretty unlikeable to me. The other characters weren’t that interesting either but they were tolerable. I’d give it a watch if you don’t have anything else on your plate but otherwise it’s a pass.
On another note I started Gurren Lagann yesterday and I love it. The story is interesting, the characters are likeable, the humor is funny, and the action is awesome. I’m on episode 8 at the moment and can’t wait to see where the story goes from here. Out of all the characters so far I like Kamina the most with Leeron (for some reason) at a close second.

Shit, this just keeps getting more epic! I’m on episode 19 of Gurren Lagann and just f**k**g wow! Depending on how this anime ends it may overthrow Elfen Lied as my favorite. I’ve got to give a thanks to David for talking about Gurren Lagann on one of the Video Blogs and too daikenjo for recommending it too me. Oh yeah, Viral is a bad ass.

currently catching up missed episodes of Clannad After Story, gosh how I'd missed all the emotional drama in this series. Interesting how nobody had yet give it a mention.
Setre, if you think TTGL is (quote) "f**k**g wow!" now, get ready to feel the massive epic-ness later. Best anime watching experience IMO.

Who the hell do you think I am? One of the greatest lines I’ve heard from an anime. Just finished Gurren Lagann and I can’t believe just how awesome an anime it was. The thing I liked about it the most is how you got to watch the characters grow. I don’t mean in just their ideas and stuff but also their physical appearances as well, all the characters physically age and that’s something I really enjoy watching. I recommend Gurren Lagann to anyone who likes anime. It’s got humor, action, and an awesome storyline. I can’t praise it enough, seriously just watch it.
