Do you guys think that Blizzard could possibly use Diablo 3 as a chance to "test the water" on this generation of consoles, and possibly get into that market?
I've had this thought on my mind for a while, and after listening to Podcast 98, I have to know your opinions on it.

Émile from New Orleans, Louisiana (Yahto in chat):
We probably saw more 10/10 or approaching scores this past year than any other in terms of percentage of all titles released. I recall that one of you in a past broadcast commented that the number of above 80% titles on the metacritic/gamerankings list for 2008 indicated that the industry is seeing more quality games being released.
Looking back on that statement, do you all feel that it's really an increase in triple A titles, an influx in mediocre games barely making it over the bar, a long running problem with biased game reviews, or something else.

In terms of gameplay, what part of Resident Evil 5 will you be looking most forward to? (co-op, horror, puzzles, etc. )

Overall, which series do you think is better? Silent Hill or Resident Evil? and if you want, maybe you could say which aspects Silent Hill does better than Resident Evil. I.E. puzzles or visa versa

what do you guys think of the trend for games to have multiple endings? do you guys prefer games to have just one ending or more(eg in Silent Hill)? and do you guys usually obtain as many endings as possible in your own time, or just one gameplay is enough? and if you guys know the way to obtain the ending which one (as in good, normal, bad, true, best, UFO...etc) of the endings do you tend to get?

Adrian from California (Aged_Milk in chat):
How do you guys feel about game devs giving too much weight to fan opinions for future releases? (I.e. the Eidos forums & the Post-Core Tomb Raider series)
My point is that it's nice that the devs are interested in fan feedback, but do you believe fan opinions should be a guiding hand in the development process, or just a voice to express opinions on minor issues?

I'm hearing that the line up for the PS3 this year is strongest, packed with hyped exclusives like Uncharted 2, God of War III, Heavy Rain, InFamous, and obviously, Killzone 2, all to be released in 2009.
Do you agree that this year, the console can recover from the lackluster performance of the past few years?

Even though new exclusive IP's are popping up, more and more titles are becoming multiplatform. Do you guys think it'll be better or worse for gaming if most if not all titles become multiplatform and exclusiveness is eliminated?
Also, how was Ikkicon?

Brad, have you ever wondered if your life was actually like the movie, "A Beautiful Mind", and that we don't actually exist, so basically you're talking to yourself for each broadcast?
Just food for thought

What do you think about the fixed camera style and/or inventory management (item storage boxes) of old survival horror games (ex. the first three Resident Evils or the first 3 or 4 Silent Hill games)? Would you ever like to see a game use that system again or is that an outdated and frustrating system that only breeds annoying backtracking?

Ok since this is the 100th podcast, I think we should elaborate on the topic of a 4PP game.
(There has already been a thread for this, but, i would like to hear your ideas.)
What would you want in a game about you guys? What would the plot be? What kind of game?Who would be the enemies? Who would you play as? Game Design? Music? Playable characters?etc...
I just really would like to hear what ideas you guys have about this game if it was to be created.
