It's caused by a few people who think they are better than the rest of the world and don't have to pay for games.. When did any of us (people on the forum) say that we were better than you because we get games for free? Im sure that the reason most people pirate game is not so they can go around and rub it in other peoples faces and say that they are better then them. LOL! Can you say hypocrite? OK, so let me get this straight... Its not okay for your friend to steal from you dad, But its okay for you to steal from your friend? And then BREAK his game? Hahaha, wow. That really made my day. I needed a good laugh. |

Dave i never said I was proud. The way i see it is if your preaching on how pirating is bad (and pirating is basically stealing) dont go around and steal a persons pirated game to "get back at them".
That makes you just as bad. And that may seem like Justice to you, but then the guy who you stole the pirated game from in the first place just burns another copy and then the whole cycle starts over again.
Im not saying that there is no justice, its just that it the wrong way to carry out justice. If that what you even wanna call it. I call it being a d*ck to your friend

Pirating is inevitable in the world we live in today, most larger companies are still getting good sales from their games however, so it's not dire, but it is a problem for them.

Or did he steal those too? Im just saying, dont preach about obeying the piracy law and then tell a story about how you tought some guy a lesson by stealing his pirated games and then breaking them. So thats Your friend - Piracy You - Theft & Destruction of property. Somehow I think that "Karma" is gonna bite you in the a*s a little bit harder. |

Look people are running out of money and games are being sold for less than they were a few months ago. Are you telling me that you can't pay for a game, for at LEAST ONE GAME and that you prefer to grab something at any means online without paying a single cent for it? ]:< So you use this poor situation that we're all in to take something without giving back to the creator and that sounds kinda sad and selfish. I pirate games, People that dont like pirating games imho are people that either cant do it, think a multi million dollar company needs money, scared of a lawsuit/virus, or just on a high horse.
