Updates to Forums

Alright guys, I've been browsing around, and found somethings to add to the forums, I'm sure many of you have noticed already.
At the moment, 2 updates have been added in.

1) The warning system. Alright, before this add on, there was already a warning system, the bad part was you had to go to your profile and actually look for it and the only way you could tell you have a warning is if you have a note attached to it. This update allows the user to see his warning percentage (from 1-100%). Of course, over time, if you continue to make up for your deeds, the percentage will lower until it goes back to 0, but if you continue trolling or flamming in the forums, it will rise.
25% will lead to a 1 day suspension
40% will lead to another day's suspension
50% will lead to two days
75% will lead to another two days
and 100% may lead to a ban from forums.

Though this rule is still not official or anything, you would need to do some massive trolling/flamming in order to reach 100%
Any spamming though, like the wow gold is an auto 100% warning and auto ban.

2) The second update should be noticed right when you come in the forums, as soon as you visit you will be directed to a login screen. This will hopefully have these "guests" sign up and join forums.
Join the community, dont just lurk.

Of course we are still testing these updates, so if they do well they will be here to stay and we will try to figure out more updates as time passes. ;D

Also if you wish to request for anything you wanna see added in the forums, list them here and we will see what we can do. We need your help to try to make the forums an even better place.

Good idea Clone, not allowing the guests to view the forums should definatly get more people signing up and becoming a part of the community.

who decides the warning level?
and what offenses add how much to your level?

The mods decide the warning level
and I would say the max someone could get for an offense is 5. Like I said, we are still working things out.

or is it like if you're at 0% you cant see it?

nah if someone smites you, then they are opposing on you and crap
your warning goes up the more you break rules, like trolling and flaming, just look at the people who troll or flame, and you will understand why they have a warning bar.

I like the updates, I noticed immediately. I want to say I'm not surprised that GET TO ZE CHOPPAH!!! has a 5% warning already... xd

For the login screen, I wanted to ask: Before you log in, even if you don't click on a thread, was it considering you a "guest" at the forum? If so, I think the log in screen will be a good way to keep the unrealistic guest numbers down, and promote making a login name for those guests who still lurk the forums. Very good updates, great ideas. Thanks!

yeah, even if you just are at the homepage, you are still considered a guest online.

I'd like to note that warning's will be decreased over time, as long as you behave, like Stars in GTA.

Also, There aren't exactly set warning rises for set things, and we will usually give you an explanation for your warning increase.

Well I've been told and heard from many, even mods, that you are just posting randomly to rack up on your post count. So maybe more detailed posts would help, you know, slowing down a bit on them.
But there are other ways, you could think off im sure.
