I've aways found it strange how the swastica is always referred to as "the nazi symbol" when really its a sign as old as civilization. This is usally what people think of when they hear swastika: This is what it really is, the hindu form around hundreds of years before Hitler's reign: Really now people find this symbol as oppressive when the reason the german army wore them is because they were originally were the symbol of power and luck. so should they really continue to be offensive to people?

i found this out in a report i did in the 7th or 6th grade lmao and i also found out Hitler started to hate the jews when his mom died of cancer and the doctor was jewish. Hitler was also pissed because he didn't get into art school. yup yup... poor little Adolf...

ya, it's still offensive.
That's like if there was a country that used chocolate cakes as their symbol and then that country started slaughtering Jews, Blacks, Gays and retards, would we still like the symbol of chocolate cakes?
They used chocolate cakes to symbolize "sweet" victory and "moist"... cake.

But, history proves that EVERY civilization on earth, including mayan aztecs und and incans and egyptians use this symbol i find it strange that 40 years of use for this symbol puts the other 2000 years to waste

The thing about it is that the Nazi's Swastika is tilted, which is a symbol of corruption.
The tilted swastika is highly offense. The normal swastika is a symbol of MANY far-east religions.

Of course it's still offensive, it's the god dammed swastika. It's all about association.

well its a human condition ive found lately, its the "well it happened to us" theory, this means no one cares how bad something is uness it happened to them. No on really cares about starving children in africa but when theres famine in america its a big deal, its mans natural proclivity to selfishness that i guess defines us so i guess i see why the swastika wil coninue to be offensive until....40 years from now?

No matter how much they used the symbol in the past, how was it used more recently? As a symbol for the Nazis. So it only makes sense that when we see the symbol, we think of where in history we saw it last.

... this arguement is.... i mean... i think we are honestly just digging for poo poo to talk about here. of course it has plenty of good reason to be offensive. People have short memory spans and this is as far back as their minds will let them go. so.... there ya go. ' well really all ive been doing lately is just getting better insight on how people really think, in real day to day life if you ask someone these questions in person theyll just regurgitate all the politically correct stuff theyve been taught to think but not what they really think, i thought here i might get better insight on people but these answers are just as robootic as usual, and thats why, these are answers, not opinions, so i guess all these debate threads ive been making are useless

US Death Tolls: Most South American Coups All major death tolls in past wars conflicts False Flag Operations
I see the US flag probably being the next "swastika" in the next couple hundred years.

Well, I live in a country in Far East Asia (South Korea) and you see the swastika in a whole bunch of places. The Buddhist temple's use this symbol as do other religions. Actually, the religious "swastikas" or bent crosses are bent i the opposite direction of the Nazi swastika. Of course it is still offensive to people, and the connotation of the swastika of being bad and evil is justified, but we should also look beyond the Nazi use of the swastika.
