What are your opinions on what you've seen in trailers and screenshots? I really am not impressed with the game to tell you the truth, I expected old-school platforming, not a vehicle game. UPDATE: For those of you who have not seen the trailer: www.gamevideos.com/video/id/18831

I didn't see this coming. I was expecting a more traditional platformer. I might actually be interested in something new.
When Rare does new things we get stuff like Viva Pinata which is cool. When they don't we get shit like Perfect Dark Zero.

Ugh... Yeah, I was hoping for 100% platforming, and from what I've seen in the story, it doesn't seem so great as I was expecting. Hopefully they'll go back to their roots if they come out with another sequel. But the car creation looks cool, just kinda random.

Personally I think this game looks amazing. When I heard them talk about how the physics of the world work with the control set-up of the vehicle, I got really excited.
And it's all customizable! Meaning your collectathon you always have to deal with in 3d platformers actually gives you something you want this time, new parts for your all your lego dreams.
Cant wait

I hope vehicle making allows variety but is still simple enough to make things in a reasonable amount of time. Gameplay seems to be the same collect random nuts but I never really minded that too much.
Ha, what irony s*** is edited to nuts.
