I watched the three first episodes, and I guess I was expecting something more interesting. I mean, the animation is good, as Bones always does, they did great with FMA, but I wasn't really hooked.
Opinions? Worth the time, or should I drop it?

I think you should give it a chance, some animes are really draggy in the beginning but get pretty good later on.
I've never seen it, but that's just my opinion. ><

Fantastic series in my opinion. Watched it when it was originally airing. And it is definitely worth the watch.
But it definitely lives up to its name, it is a very very dark series.

I watched the entire series and although the animation and music was good there honestly wasn't that much substance to it. I mean it was entertaining but nothing speculator and i was a bit disappointed with how the story turned out and ended. There were a couple things that went unanswered etc.

I'm still unsure of continuing the series.

I mean it was a decent anime I guess the only problems where a lot of questions are unanswered and the ones that are give you the "huh? thats it?" kind of feeling. The one thing I did find that was pretty interesting and unique were the things the contractors had to do for "payment" or fulfilling their contract. I would say a few but don't want to spoil anything .

Yoko Kanno's score is the best part.

I watched the whole series of DTB. The story itself is kind of complicated itself but the animations and actions are really nice. Only about 26 episodes long and 1 OVA.

I watched the 25 episodes, that's the only ones I know of. It's an intresting series, though is it going to continue anytime soon? Or are there more episodes then I know of?

I'm still yet to finish it, I've been halfway through it for months.. it had me hooked originally and from what i've seen its pretty good. But its really taken backseat priority for me, been too interested by other anime.

No 669, it is not the anime has already finished and come to an end with its 25 or so episodes and there are no plans to continue it.
That is why I said it's weak point is that it leaves a lot of things unanswered and doesn't explain a whole lot and leaves a lot to be desired.

Ah, that sucks. I would even have prefered a fake ending, like in Claymore or Gantz
