It seems that gaming has reached a point where despite near limitless design and gameplay possiblities, developers stick with ideas that have been proven to work in the past. I have no problem with an old mechanic if it is well polished enough to still be interesting.
how do you feel about what you want to see in future games? A mechanic or idea that hasn't been fully explored or hardly even touched,
I feel that most gameplay mechanics have been explored in some form or another but which ones do you think were left for dead too early or were never even given a chance.

Do you think company's like Microsoft should stop forcing people to pay for content if the developer asks that it is released for free? Example: Having to pay for TF2 content on the 360 when Valve wants it to be free.

If you all played all of the Prince of Persia games, what was your favorite out of Prince of Persia sands of time, Prince of Persia Warrior Within, Prince of Persia 2 Thrones, and the Prince of Persia 4.
(I am a huge Prince of Persia fan, and Brads negative comments makes a lot of sense, and i accept his negativity, I hope other Prince of Persia fans would also accept Brads Comments)

Does Survival horror really still exist? should developers bring back the old style of this genre back, the way it was 10 years ago?
we dont see much ofthe Silent Hill's, Fatal Frame's, or Siren's anymore (low ammo, want to avoid enemies). What we see is an evolved genre, Action Horror, which i feel is RE4, RE5, and Dead Space (lots of ammo, so enemies arent really a problem). these games are not bad by any means, but i would prefer developers try to bring back the way the genre was 10 years ago.

Taking a look at the new FF Versus 13 trailer, it seems the game will take place in a city or urban setting, with buildings and vehicles that are like the ones we have in the real world. Even the first line of the trailer said "This is a fantasy based on reality" With that said:
What do you think about Square-Enix's Final Fantasy Versus XIII's concept of "Fantasy Based On Reality"?
Do you think this setting will upset any of the people following the FF series?
And finally, was this a good move on the develops part to make a Final Fantasy game apparently not placed in a fantasy themed world?

After playing Prince of Persia and Tomb Raider, I herd you complain about the camera. That how if you are hanging from a ledge, you can't look behind you. So Brad, I have a challenge for you, put your hands above a doorfacing the doorway, Now look behind you. as if you had a full motion camera control. Tell me how well that works for you.
