The thing is, Pennz, that I don't see why us chatters (not the idiots) should be punished by having to wade through slow mode the same as the cahces, when we've done nothing wrong. It's like if you had two kids, and one was being bad, you don't punish both, do you?
My point is that chat doesn't have to suck. Normally, I enjoy conversing with some of the chatters, like King of Hearts or Jamradar. Unfortunately, when slow mode is in place (like it is almost 24/7 nowadays simply because of the sheer amount of people [God, I remember when we said that because there were 200 people, now we have 600!]), it's nigh impossible to hold a conversation.
Again, us not-dumb chatters tend to like having conversations about stuff with other people who enjoy gaming, hence why chat is there. In fact, if chat weren't there, none of us would know each other half as well as we do.
That said, a voiced list is stupid. I say you just voice everyone that doesn't seem like they'll be chaches. Then, if someone you do voice becomes a chach, blacklist him. Keep the blacklist in the mod forum.

Darknezz, if not being able to post the rules more than once every 1 or 2 minutes bothers you that much, just find a way around it.

Also, I know a way around slow mode, and so do you, and so does basically anyone who isn't a complete idiot. I'd rather not be banned from chat, though, so I don't use the exploit.

I actually found a new way around slow mode without having to refresh my page.

I personally don't mind slow mode or voiced viewers but there are times when we don't need it. 500 or 600 viewers usually is right for slow mode because chatters can't help saying "LOL" and "epic win/fail" every time something happens. But there have been times when there was about 300 viewers, two or three mods and slow mode. IMO this is not when we need slow mode... hopefully... but it's getting much more tolerable now.
And inquisition, good job for finding a loop hole and waiting 10 seconds to 20 seconds to post another message because you can't wait 60 seconds. I'm just saying, is it really worth it to bash another person for disliking slow mode only to reveal your "secret" exploitation? It's like saying "I can't believe you don't like purple. What is wrong with you? Oh, by the way, I hate purple too and wear green instead." Sorry if it sounds like I'm bashing you inquisition, I just want you to think about what you say first...

My hand is cold.
Also "What." At the above post.
I didn't tell Darknezz to use the refresh exploit, I just told him to get around it.
Also I like my "Secret", don't even have to refresh the page so I don't miss the feed. :3

I never said you told Dark to use the exploit. I said "...is it realy worth it to bash another person for disliking slow mode..." and at this rate I have to agree with Dark. Have fun getting TOd or possibly banned from chat because 60 seconds is such a long time. >_>

Sorry for liking the ability to read chat but it is pretty necessary when there are 600 different people trying to voice their opinions.

It's not a punishment for you, because you can talk freely with it on if you felt so inclined. For us normal chatters, that like to have conversations and not be tards, it's fricken annoying. Especially because JTV's clocks run at 30 ticks a minute, rather than the standard 60, making the "1 minute" before speaking again actually two minutes. That said, I understand that it helps you mods do your job. I just don't see why, when we have the capability, there can't be voiced viewers.

Look, darknezz I'm tired of beating around the bush here... and I will be honest because I am hoping you can accept the truth without totally freaking out about it. I personally don't like to voice you because for this very reason, you like to argue. And as much as I love you telling us all your opinions, unfortunately, a lot of the chatters are too immature to handle it when someone crosses their opinion. It's my job to keep it under control. Not saying that a discussion is a bad thing, but I do notice you cross the 'line' from time to time. That does not mean, however, that if I come into the room and you are already voiced that I un-voice you. That is not my decision and another mod saw you as capable.

Honestly, I could care less about being voiced my self, I just can't stand the hypocrisy of it. We're told that "Oh, you can have conversations when slow mode isn't on!" but literally EVERY broadcast, we're in slow mode because of sheer viewer(/chach) count. Now, I understand your point of my argumentative nature. Once again, I honestly don't care about my self being voiced. Now, your point about "crossing the line" of other peoples' opinions I just find a little dumb, but whatever. Point is, you're right, I do argue a bit too much.

When I said crossing the line I meant saying something you know will start an argument... and you do this especially when you are voiced. So if you dont mind waiting because "I could care less about being voiced my self" what in the world do you want? What exactly is your argument? You know we cant have slow mode off all the time because chat flies at a zillion miles per hour. All I can really say is if you spite it that much, do as I did for a while and simply watch the show. EDIT: fixed my awesome spelling
