Would you rather have a game delayed, or released with key features missing at launched to be patched later, usually taking longer then if they held the game back to fix it.

What's your opinion on developers touting a certain feature in a game and ultimately pulling it from the final version? Such as the removal of fire propogation and the ability to pour gas trails and light them in Mercenaries 2 or the lack of readily available online co-op in Fable 2. Do you think this can ruin sales, developer reputation, and/or overall enjoyment?

This question is directed to the viewers(those that watch the podcast) right? If so, I'd have to say yeah! Actually several things. I didn't own a psp before watching the podcasts until now. By watching them and listening to what they've had to say I've changed my views on the outlook of the video game realm. Before I wasn't really into the online stuff though my friends and relatives tried to pull me in and for whatever reason I wouldn't budge. There are a lot of games out there that I wish I would have bought back then that I didn't. I'm not a pro gamer or a game addict but I will admit that I love to play games when I have the time. I've also considered getting a xbox and/or a ps3. A lot of my friends are begging me to get an xbox instead of a ps3. So I'm still unsure at the moment and I don't have the money for either one at this time  . |

I was wondering...
do you think that older games are harder than new games because new games trying to make the game easier to play and less frustrating for the casual audience
example most NES games pale in comparison to newer games like halo 3 and CoD4 which have difficulty settings that are very easy
Which old game was the most difficult for you to play/finish
P.S. possible top 5 hardest parts of a video game
