Mirror's Edge free-running, GTA free roaming, Crysis physics, Mercenaries mayhem and explosions, Alone in the Dark inventory combinations and fire effects, and of course a ridiculously gigantic selection of weapons with Tom Clancy firearms sounds.
As for story... hell, I dunno, maybe an original one that's down-to-earth. Framed for a crime, betrayed by those closest to you, family murdered or kidnapped, forced to become a pariah... actually, let's put all of those together and call it the story... and let's have it take place somewhere with giant skyscrapers to scale or tear down.

Ok, dude this might be a bit long but oh well. Have an RPG with the graphics of Square Enix and the open world of Far cry2. The character modling of the sims and the facial expressions of half life 2.
As for gameplay wise. Have a simular battle system as condemed and being able to grapple like in Fall of Liberty. Be able to choose a class like in Phantasy star universe and be able to change any time you want, let's say a gunslinger will add a first person element to the game. A fighter would add a condemed element, if there was magic or mages then bring in Final Fantasy again. Or an athlet with the same engine as Mirrors edge.
Story wise have the same darkness of Alone in the Dark with the Character divelopment of Silent Hill. Perhaps allow a party/ CO-OP like they will in Call of Duty: Worldat War. And a story line as good as Half-life. That is pretty much what game I want, hope you didn't get bored

A Mercs 2 story? Are you fucking kidding me. That was one of the stupidest stories ever to grace a game. If it weren't for the comedy in that game, oh dear, I just wouldnt want to think of how the game would be.
I mean do you see those houses where rpg people shoot from windows. That just looks so buggy in horrible

Had this idea ever since I was a kid.
Pokemon Game: Only OG 151 Pokemon. Free Roam sand box style. Battle system of Kingdom Hearts. Full 3d Cel Shaded GFX. And orchestrated version of OG soundtrack. And Pokemon Snap side quest's BAM!
Who WOULDNT want to play that? I swear if nintendo makes a game like that, it would be an instant cash cow. They did ok with those GC games, but it needs to be deeper.
And now for a batshit crazy idea.
GodHand styled over the top'ness & gameplay. mixed with the story line of megaman. with the soundtrack on N+. And replace all the characters with people from Halo 3

lol what Soundtrack on N+, you mean that 2:00 looped song that you hear over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again? Alright here we go,
Mine is gonna have to be a Tales (action rpg blah blah blah) kinda game. BUT to do powerful spells, you select it, and this pops up:
"INSERT GUITAR CONTROLLER NOW"
Then you must do some insane guitar hero riff and complete it with above 80% notes hit for it to be successful (Always expert mind you)
Then, when you thought it couldnt get any cooler, a f**king ZOMBIE UNICORN DOLPHIN BEAR PICKLE FROM OUTAR SPAEC SHOOTS LAZORZ OUT OF ITS MOUTH. All to the soothing tunes of light jazz ;D
