actually i bought it a month or two ago and im still listening to the album Demon days by the gorillaz a hell of a lot when gaming.
theres nothing like playing lost planet whilst dennis "muthafucking* hopper talks about "fire coming out of the monkeys head"

Most of the time I listen to the game music, but sometimes I will listen to some Classic Rock or R&B.

I have a weird playlist. Machinae Supremacy, They Might be Giants, Lemon Demon and Muse, with some other random stuff thrown in. I usually play Player One (MaSu) when stuck at a boss for too long, as that is my tradition. Otherwise, I just let it go and skip songs that I don't feel like listening to.

A rob zombie playlist on Imeem whenever im playing RE.
Track 15 when im stuck (dang it brad, getting me into stuff)
Rammstein for Warhammer 40k with friends (I have a sweet set up), sometimes when Im playing Dawn of war.. Mostly because It gets me into it. Like as if they were fighting a war, and the only reward was eternal damnation.
Guns N' Roses for mercs 1 n 2.
Disturbed for Manhunt.
besides that nothing.

I try to choose a song that fits the game but that doesnt always work out. For instance I like to play techno while I'm playing a racing game and for rpg's such as Valkyrie profile 2, final fantasy X, X-2, IV, XII and shadow of the colossus I like to play some instrumental music. Um.. for the alien demon killing games I go for rock, metal or just the sound of silence in my room(if there is any silence).
