If you're already a REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY good artist, you can get a job easily. But you have to be an epic artist.

No such thing as a Gaming College. But there is such thing as 3D Modeling courses, programming courses, art classes, etc. It depends on what you want to do in game design. You need a certain path. There is a big difference between a programmer and a concept artist. riutse is wrong in one way. You do not have to be an 'epic' artist, or 'really really good'. This is because if you want to be an artist in the gaming industry, and an artist in general, people have different perspectives on your art. You just need to practice on your skills. If you want to be a concept artist, you need to be ready to do what your co-workers request to paint. They're depending on your vision. Practice does not make perfect, because nothing is perfect. But I know some guys that are concept artists: and they never considered their art, 'really really good' or 'epic'.

I went to a gaming college Brown College,
and they basically said the very first day, unless you have great artistic skills are are really good at math, you are wasting your time and more importantly your money.
I stuck around for a year, and sad to say, but they were right.

No such thing as a Gaming College. actually there are, at least in england, no names come to mind right now, but there are ads for them in the console magazines.
