And no, not that shitty wii/ds skate it game, a confirmed sequel to an amazing skateboarding game for the 360/ps3. www.1up.com/do/previewPage?cId=3169104&p=37The thing I'm looking forward too the most is that you can get off your board now, making it much easier to get up stairs and such. Apparently you can also move real world objects now, creating your own lines. They also improved the character creator, which is huge (the one in the first kind of sucked). And lastly, they fixed retarded pedestrian AI, which should make it easier to just get around the city. If you haven't picked up the first game, I really think you should. It's a breath of fresh air into the skateboarding video game genre, and it's a pretty breathtaking game.

It should be as good, if not better than the original. I got the original a few days ago and I must admit, I love it. I just want the ability to change my sponsors.

This is pretty cool, I loved the first game because of how innovative and fun it was. The new updates seem really cool, like being able to get off your board, moving objects and improving the character creator. I'm not sure what you're talking about for the retarded pedestrian AI though, they seemed to behave just fine for me.
One thing that I really hope they improve in this one is the storyline. The first game had barely any. It consisted of "make some videos and do some cool stuff in front of people until you are able to get a spot in a magazine. repeat until you are able to get into the x-games. Beat the x-games." I can excuse it for barely having any plot because it was just so fun to ride around the huge city and just find everything that you possibly could to trick on. This time around, however, I think there needs to be a slightly better storyline. I remember the story from THUG 1 and how while it wasn't anything special, it still drove the game along and gave it all a purpose.

I always ran into problems with pedestrians, maybe I was just frustrated because I always run into the same person again and again lol.
One thing I really hope (and it looks like they will) is how they keep the artistic feel of the first one, and incorporate it into the new one. Like how you can create videos and easily upload and edit them from the game alone, or create screenshots. That was what really won the game over for me, was how new it was compared to the Tony Hawk series.

I didn't like SKATE because it seems that when I want to just ollie, I pop shove it or something. I just think they needed to make it more leanent.
I hope they fix that in Skate 2 or has an option to make it more button based.

I liked skate, but the tricks were too close together. It was way too hard to do one trick from another. You go for a kickflip, and you pop shuvit, you pop shuvit and you..well, pop shuvit's are hard to mess up

It's so much more satisfying when you finally are able to do the move you want every time. It is hard, because of the massive amount of tricks combined in a small space, but I really want them to keep that part of the game there.

I never bought or even rented the first Skate, but I abolutely fell in love with the demo. Put it this way. I downloaded Proving Ground, played it once deleted it. Downloaded Skate demo, played it, and kept on playing for another 3 1/2 hours. Considering how fresh, inventive and yet enjoyable the gameplay and design was you could forgive the flaws in it. One successful kickflip onto a grind rail and a pop shuvit off it feels so much more rewarding than stringing together like 73 button mashing combos in Tony Hawks. If Skate 2 ups its predeccessor and even pull off a few surprises then it's a day one purchase as far as I'm concerned.

Thats one badass quote of your notorious to tell you the truth. As for my one, well, I just got it off a sitcom. I haven't got a clue about Latin. lol
