I've only played three new console games this year GH Metallica, RE5 and SF4.Guitar Hero Metallica you can draw your own conclusions on, and I wasn't that impressed by RE5 but I thought Street Fighter was absolutely amazing.
As far as portable games go I absolutely love Rock Band Unplugged and Rhythm Heaven.

Uhhh.
Prototype is awesome, Infamous looks like they developers watched Static Shock a little too much (Haven't played it, so no opinion). Fallout is great, and so is it's DLC probably. Only if you have a 360 though, because Bethesda doesn't know how a damn PS3 works, and are lazy to find out.

I can't really deny inFamous. I have not played it (outside of the demo), but it is easy to know that is is game of the (half) year.
