Colonel Vanek from F.E.A.R. 2 he is the only villian that I felt the need to dispose of. I don't know who came up with the script for that guy but "You must be hurtin for some hurtin." Dangnamit, you don't use the word hurtin twice in a sentence!>:[ O.o You can say "You're asking for some hurtin." And he is the only villian that has ever made me in video game history yell out in my own bedroom "YOU WANT ME SO BAD, COME AND GET ME!"

Liquid from Metal Gear Solid series.
Two brothers wanting to destroy each other makes for some badass fights and dialog.

Albert Wesker. <3 This. Out of all the villains that I've seen in games, Wesker pretty much tops it for me. Playing both behind the scenes and getting active in his villainy (and much more than that) puts him at the very top of my villain list. This position was solidified after finishing up Resident Evil 5 this week.

Favorite Villian? Unfortunately I have a few but I'll narrow em down..
3. Saren from Mass Effect he has a purpose, and such a great realistic personality. I adore how Bioware characterized this character.
2. Dagoth Ur from Morrowind you hear about this guy the entire game and once you become Nerevarine and head to Red Mountain you're just ready to tear him up. He even makes you think it's hopeless before you realize how you're supposed to actually kill him....(damn that heart...damn it to hell....>.>)
1.Huge spoiler for anyone that hasn't played KOTOR2!
My favorite Villian is Traya. Man, when that plot twist comes along and you find out her intents, you don't know wether to love her or hate her. She has aided you and helped you the entire game, and now you have to face her in awesome lightsaber combat. 0.0
Honorable Mention....and another huge Spoiler..this one for Metal Gear Solid 3.
The Boss....she may not really be a villian, but she's an antagonist throughout the game, you don't even fight her till the end but every encounter with her is meaningful and well written. Once you find out the truth about her, all your feelings turn around and I can say without a doubt that half the people who played MGS3 cried at the end.

I would have to say Dr. Nafarius from Ratchet and Clank: Up your Arsenal. Hes just a fun villan. He might not be the greatest villan ever but him and Laurence just make an awesomely funny duo.

Its not an easy decision really, theres so many things that should go into what makes a good villain. The theme music for them, their appearance, how they fight or attack, their mindset, ect ect. But I'd say mine would have to be... The tattoo ghost from Fatal Frame 3: The tormented. She was scary, you knew when she was coming for you, she was half naked (always a bonus for me) and she gave me a few good laughs.

Heihachi Mishima or of the Tekken series. Heihachi is a bad bad man. Don't let his age fool you cause he's a tough son of a bitch and doesn't seem to know how to die.

Neclord from Suikoden I
He was just an upright pimp, he takes a girl and haves his ways and then kills her. Also it's when the game got harder for me.

Dude, Kefka from final fantasy 6. Hands down. He's just NUTS and he totally dresses up crazily. My goodness I love him because I appreciate his weirdness. His laugh is also brilliant. My favorite villain easily.

Ocelot
Especially in MGS2. The way he drives the story is just great.
