Beyond Good and Evil. I kept hearing how awesome and that it was one of the best games of the last gen. I went out and found a copy of the game and was just rather disappointed that it had awkward controls. I didn't hate the game and I am looking forward to the sequel, but man was it just over-hyped for me.
And Fatal Frame IV being a Japan only release

Fallout 3: I rented it twice to make sure i didn't like it and guess what... I could never get into it, it got really boring really fast. The fact that combat was so slow and required game pauses every 5 seconds pissed me off.
Street Fighter 4: I know some people may hate me for this.. but i just didnt like it... The online is absolute garbage and all I found was Ken Shoryuken/Hadouken Spammers.. never lived up to its name.

Fallout 3 Such a poor excuse for a Fallout game. Lack of black humour, satire, and the terrible gameplay. The only good things about this game were the story and improved VATS system from the original two games. It's a disgrace to one of my favorite games of all time (The first one). Are you on crack?...Anywho...hmm..cant really think of any Disappointments EXCEPT for the starfox seires..Ive been a long time fan and to see the seires go down the tube the way it has and the way nintendo hasnt announced or planned to do anything new with it..other than that nothing really..BUT if infinity ward drops the call of duty title and just goes with modern warfare as the title for the seires I will be DEEPLY disappointed Also to Manulito..what are you talking about? The legacy of kain seires was BRILLIANT good gameplay a story that made sense..sucks they stoped making those...ah back in the day when not 6 out of every 10 games that come out suck so bad Actually, some fans of the first and second Fallout have a right to be upset. They were nothing like Fallout 3. Bethesda took it over and totally changed it. I like it personally, but it's understandable why harrysunderland was disappointed. |

Final Fantasy 7 ... Yeah, I've voiced my opinion on that before but I still really despise that game. Huge let down for me.

Silent Hill: Homecoming.
While it was a nice twist and change for those who wanted it from the series with extra combat moves or whatever, I am very disappointed. The story, unlike the first games, was waaay too linear. Of course there isn't anything wrong with a linear story. . . except when it's Silent Hill. I enjoy being lost and worried and having to look in every single door in the hospital before I find what I'm really looking for.
And the combat was a disappointment, too. For those who are used to the original SH's, it becomes a very very difficult game to play. You HAVE to use the combat in order to fight. You HAVE to dodge first, then fight. Or Block before you swing. You can't just be James and swing your little pole around. And I'm saddened by that. And I'm disappointed with the random Pyramid Head appearances. Wtf? Thanks for fucking with SH2's story. Why is he there? Just because he has fans, he doesn't have to be in a SH game to make it better.
I really hope the next installment takes a look at fan responses. What a let-down.
