Is anybody else watching this strange anime?
To begin with, it's about a guy with amnesia who thinks he's a terrorist as he discovers where he's been and what he's been doing. When he first comes to, all he has is a phone and a gun in each of his hands.
He runs into a girl who is taking a trip in Washington DC to the white house after graduating college. In the end, she gets involved with him, in more than one way.
The anime is mysterious and deals with the problem of NEETs, people who are not employed, who aren't being educated and who are not in training I think.
Also, another twist is that he and others have a phone which can call a mysterious lady by the name of Juiz. Each of these phone users have a large amount of money in their bank accounts connected to the phone that they are to use for anything that will benefit their country or they will be dealt with. Once their money is used up, one of the phone users will come to kill the user who ran out of money. Juiz can grant anything at a price, even things that might seem impossible, and she can grant it within seconds. The phone records the history of what others have "bought" and is way to find out where one of them is.
I got into this show because of the high quality opening and ending animations.
Character designs are from the person who made the designs for Honey & Clover!
Nice English music + kinetic typography!
Paper animation!

It's a pretty neat anime. I hear that there's going to be a movie of it which will be the final few episodes. Many mysterious, but nothing too super weird. It's a good amount.

Nice show, I still don't know what a "NEET" is yet, and it being a major part of the story makes it alittle hard to follow.

ah...the "p**** exposure anime"........XD an oasis single for OP, which is a bit unusual. The overall visual presentation is quite good. They finally get rid of the romance factor as the series goes on which is good.

Oh sorry, I figured most of your opening post was just to introduce it to people who haven't been watching. But...that makes sense, it also makes me one, which in turn makes me a bit self loathing. ah...the "p**** exposure anime"........XD Just the one time, and it's censored. Now wait until you get to the "Johnny Hunter" episode.

i just started watching it myself, i like it a lot. I was also a fan of Ghost In the Shell, which i've heard was produced by the same company, Production I.G. I've found a website to stream all of the episodes.

They're going to be having a movie to explain the ending, much like they did for Evangelion. They're also going to be releasing a live drama I believe of it.

anime is incredibly badass, but too damn short. ohsugi sucks After the latest episode, I'm definitely thinking the same. He's letting his jealousy cloud his judgment and he's being so quick to assume. It can't be good where this is heading.
