vimeo.com/4952629I'm don't think it's going to be a huge success. Something tells me that this kind of technology is not perfected yet.

i honestly could not stop laughing when i first saw "BAM!" live.
looks like a cool tool, but idk it has a 50/50 chance of either going big or being a huge flop
plus Milo is weird as hell, cant wait to see what people will try to say to him
"hey milo?" "yes?" "suck my ***" "cheeky!"

The scanning thing will never work without a green screen. I also like how they don't mention the fact that you will have to buy an Xbox Live Vision camera and other crap to lay around your house. Microsoft sounds like Disney with all this "Magic TV" stuff.

Honestly it looks fantastic, but i dont think it will nearly be as good as its slated to be, for one thing i dont think, from what ive been told by the dev's i know who have worked on 360 games, that the processing power of the actual console is not nearly up to scratch for this, which woud mean natal would have to have some serious hardware of its own, which means it will either be very expansive or , to quote one guy i know who works on wii game, its at least a few years away. Dont get me wrong i WANT it to come out, it looks like a blast, if you can do it with existing stuff, like oblivion for example it will rock(i can see brad live on the feed rolling bears for real already) but stuff like facial recognition i dont think will work that well myself.
Plus, and im not the only one whos said this "and im 5 minutes how many wangs will be scanned for uno?"

one of my buddies went to E3, and he had an interview with the creative director (that dude who had the shades and orange jacket thing)
He tried it out, and he said himself "theres no bells or whistles, or gimmicks to this thing, Natal is the real deal"
I know him enough to know hes telling the truth
and the creative director himself said its extremely early in development, and it wont be coming out this year, and not even next year.
This is a big project, and its going to take a while to get it right

apparently theres a processor IN natal thats more powerful than the one inside the console its being attached to, from what ive heard it might be able to do exactly what we've seen it do in the videos

Thanks for the input. hey you never know dude, it might be a sony marketing thing, theyve got a motion controller of there own to sell. i mean its not unheard of, think bakc to the initial competition between the ds and psp and the now infamous "all i want for christmas is a psp" "FANSITE"

It looks pretty awesome, gotta love how technology is developing. But then others would think man, spended sooo much money in buying wireless controllers, what to do with them now? *grin*
