It's basically a site where you can vote for your favorite female anime character(s). There are times that your favorite character is faced against a very strong adversary (like Konata/Kagami from Lucky Star), and that is normal in this tournament. well.......guess that's the problem with the participant of this kind of competitions then.....
since it's a different saimoe i will not comment much on it.
On the other note, i'd got sick of the trend in the original japanese saimoe when people just spam the votes, ambush another characters, and so on. This is not a popularity contest, whether or not the definition of moe had been distorted in some field i don't know, but i don't really like when people starts verbal war against another group just because they are on different sides of the battle, or some misconducts had occurred on the field.
anyway, enough ranting for now.
enjoy the voting, and don't take too much into it.
though if possible, go check out the clips for opening ceremony, top 8, closing ceremony for the japanese equivalent. They are usually very decent.

The bad news is that there's no K-ON characters in this tournament (I'm going to assume they'll be on next year's). It's kinda funny that they put Osaka from Azumanga Daioh in this tournament.
