Well, whats the best sandbox game? I mentioned the ones that came to mind and I know you could fiddle around with. My personal opinion is probably Crysis, even though Ive only seen videos of it, Ive seen crates stacked and fall, and 1000 barrels blow up, which just looks awesome.
(Fallout 3, and Little Big Planet are not out, but we can safely assume from game play that they are sandbox. Because Fallout 3 is a heavily modded Elder Scroll, and I'm sure that Fat man is going to be the best tool to see stuff just blow up. and Little Big Planet's mode where you create levels is a perfect chance to just see what you can do with everything.)

I have no idea which one I want to pick!!! I've never played Crysis. GTA 4 is a decent one in my book, of course Oblivion is up there, not the mention Fallout 3 will be up there too. WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME? !?!?!?!?!

I'd have to go with Little Big Planet. Just the amount of things you can create is amazing.

Garrys Mod which isnt on there, best sandbox game by far. Build whatever you want at any time, and also there are so many great mods for it like zombie survival, stalker and pirate mod!

Voted for Oblivion, because the engine it's on is amazing. I can't wait to see what Bethesda does with the next Elder Scroll title, once they finish Fallout 3, that is.

Half Life, I've spent well over 1000's of hours playing mods for the game.
