Spawn the Animated Series. It once aired on HBO, never watched it until a friend of mine linked me a youtube video of an episode. I was surprised because he HATES anime and even though the show wasn't necessarily an anime it was made in an asian studio. I loved it. I was so hooked I went out and bought all the DVDs. Never have I heard such great voice acting in a cartoon. The plot was gripping, addictive, and it didn't skip out on the mature material. I'm not saying it's all shock value, the vulgar language makes the show's situations feel more real as it fleshes out its characters on a level we could relate to.

It's not an easy dvd to find. Took me three months before FYE coughed up the collection dvd from their warehouses...
Still it would be amazing if this could be played on jtv.
