There are QTE's in the game. Watching a brief E3 live gameplay, I noticed a few buttons pop up at the bottom of the screen when she is using her giant hair.. beast thing.

Update to that interview I posted a page back:
[UPDATE - 6/4/09: I checked with Sega on this at E3, and it turns out Hashimoto's quote was a slight misunderstanding. Motorcycles will appear in the game in specific levels, but players won't be able choose whether they get on or off of them like in Grand Theft Auto. Think of it like how motorcycles appear in MadWorld.]

I'm guessing that the little girl is Bayonetta herself, just in the past though or something. SHe probably time traveled or something. Also she has Tonzookas.

The beginning of this video shows the intro to the E3 demo apparently. Nothing too big. Just her riding on a train and speaking to some unknown person.
