well, it might probably be the most hated way to advertise for season 2, and so far i think it worked.
nice to see the crew back. The new ED is not as epic as the last one, but it's still good.
now, just need to finish up K-ON! before the new wave of madness continues (18th June).

i know this is a perverted and wrong question to ask but did haruhi's chest get slightly bigger from season 1 to 2? maybe its jsut her uniform is drawn a little differently or it could be my imagination.

The 2009 season is actually a rebroadcast of the first season but 28 episodes long. The story will be in chronological order and will mix in the new episodes with the old.
There are some speculations of the 2nd season to follow up after this season.

I'm not into random stuff but I'll give it a shot because I'm watching it with my friend. As a girl, the fanservice and the moe is doing nothing for me but the more intellectual things are kind of intriguing.. |

also they can't just insert few random episodes in without extending the length to 2 seasons long. It would create havoc to the broadcast schedules if that's the case. It's no speculation, but it would really suck if there's actually no second season other than that episode. However i find it very unlikely.
the new episode right now seem to be the perfect ad for the rest of season 2 later on. Saves the cost for the publishers to make promo videos.

It's neat that they're mixing it in with the older episodes in a sort of more complete way of telling the story. I have to wonder though if that was their intention all along.
