Picture yourself in your living room, sitting comfortably and partaking in the very manly and unthreatening activity of playing Call of Duty: World At War's online competitive multiplayer. There is a steady flow of conversation via voice chat, but about halfway through the round a shrill, panicked voice rises above all the others, you can make out: "THERE IS A BAT. NO, A LITERAL F**K**G BAT, WINGED RODENT, FLYING AROUND MY HEAD, IN MY LIVING ROOM, WHAT THE FUCK, WHAT THE FUCK, I AM TERRIFIED." You would have experienced the same kind of sheer, primal terror that anyone who was on my team in that particular game experienced. Seriously. I chased this little guy all through my house, my mother was laughing hysterically from behind the safety of her bedroom door. Also, don't worry, I didn't hurt him. I ended up being able to flop a semi-damp towel on him when he landed on my floor and gently scoop him up that way to take him outside. But still, damn. Everybody excited for Portcon, still? ;D

Awww... I think Bats are very cute... Then again I am very scared to get near one. I would of put on some suit and grabbed and let it back outside. It seems pretty chilled up there and by your Jimi Hendrix poster.
Man you are brave I would of also ran out there screaming leaving my home gifted to the bat.

Personally I love bats, so I would have just laughed and recorded it.
Then again, if it was a spider my reaction would of been worse then yours. Funny thing, fear. Glad to hear you were able to confront your terror though, and get the poor thing out of your house.
Do you have any idea how it got into your house? Thats f**k**g crazy dude.

ive had that happen to me before. the bat was just sticking to the ceiling and eating all the flies and roaches and stuff so i let it stay there. it stayed up there for a few hours before it flew out a window. oddly enough, it did not poop once while it was in there. it was kind of fun to look at it and it helped with out bug problem at the time.

I've had a similar event like this happen to me. Only it didn't involve an animal Somebody thought it would be funny to put this on my headboard while I was sleeping. I got up and just stared at it for 3 minutes straight.

lol fabby, I probably would have stared at it for awhile and left it alone for a couple of hours and then tried to catch it and set it free outside. Cockroaches on the other hand, well I'd panic and then grab something and try to kill them. I've actually chopped a roach in half with a fly swatter and the Damn thing was still alive and moving. O.O O.o
Btw not all bats drink blood. Some actually eat fruit and insects. I forgot what they're called though. hm... Fruit bats? Also awesome photos of the bat and the geico money.
