What do you guys think of the upcoming Call of Duty game? Is the series just being milked too much, or the fact that it is modern warfare make it too different to bundle with the WW2 games?

I'm new to the forums and I don't know if this was asked or not, but what do you think will happen to the gaming industry if developers and publishers keep rushing games out( LFD 2, Bioshock 2, etc) and making once hardcore games appeal to non-hardcore gamers?
Is the gaming industry becoming to mainstream?
