There are always some songs that have more feeling to them, the songs that realy bring out a feeling. Mostly it's the sad songs, cause they tend to affect me more then for example songs that make me happy or feel energetic.
Anyhow, here are some songs that brings out the feeling of sadness or songs I tend to listen to when I am feeling down.
If there are songs that have the similiar effect on you, please share.
Here are mine:
Dir En Grey - Embryo
The lyrics in this song have a big affect, the song is about a girl who's beeing raped by her father
Opeth - In my time of need
The Damnation album by Opeth is quite sad itself, since it's just songs like this one but this one stands out for me
Girugämesh - Kowarete iku Sekai
I don't realy listen to this band that much, but this song is quite good, from Japanese the name translates to "A breaking world"
Akira Yamaoka - Your Rain
First time I heard this song it had an affect on me and it still does
In Flames - The Chosen Pessimist
Great ballad if you may call it that, it gets realy powerfull at the end and a good way to end this little list

Come on, it's Morrissey, of course it's sad.
Also, At The Drive-In does a lot of things well, and slow, sad songs are included
And, to finish it, Mastadon.

This song actually reduced me to tears when it came on from shuffle on a particularly bad night.
And, of course, the songs that remind me of girls.

this is the final song of Freddy Mercury's (RIP) life, finished by Brian May. Just add that thought
this song was written by the guitarist (Mark Tremonti) for his recently dead mother (RIP)
This song doesn't have too much backstory, but it's freakishly sad.

The saddest song I enjoy is Deacon Blues by Steely Dan
"They got a name for the winners in the world/I want a name when I lose/They call Alabama the Crimson Tide/Call me Deacon Blues" and "Learn to play the saxophone/Play just what I feel/Drink scotch whiskey all night long/And die behind the wheel" are some tortured lyrics.

Led Zeppelin - Babe I'm Gonna Leave You Robert Plant's vocals are absolutely gut wrentching. It's just one of those songs that kicks me in the stomach especially at 2:10+.
Queen - Who wants to live forever? No comment. No need.
Medal of Honor Frontline - Arnhem Knights The most powerful piece of music I have ever heard and strangely enough it was made for a game.
