So... Nobody realizes that posting argument's on the internet solve's absolutely nothing? I suggest you two apoligize even if one of you is "Right". Every single child in the world is diffrent, there are the mature ones who actually know that there isn't a BFG in the world and handling a gun is hard, and then there are the 12 year olds who really wanna kill a person the same way in a videogame. Everything influence's you in a way, it can't be stopped. I realize that if I chainsaw a person in Gears of War, I will be happier knowing I have destroyed my enemy, if I kill a man in real life with a chainsaw, the smell, sight, and sound will be unbearable.
People blame video games because they think the kids are stupid. Who knows, you have to ask them, maybe they are the type of person who listens to all the Bull shit on the TV, or maybe they just think this. Either way, people blame the video games for violence when in reality, there are hundreds of other variables you have to address. As for people who sit inside all day playing videogames. I am one, My freinds are sometimes a pain in the ass because I do unfortunetaly think they are stupid, a flaw of mine. But I would much rather kick someones ass in Halo, or meet a person on Xbox Live, than feel the blistering hot sun and play basketball. So far all I've gotten from that is stretch marks and a broken ankle.

If you do something right people won't notice, but if you did something wrong you shoot the police.

Well video games have affected the kid's mind. Like the kids in the Columbine massacre they both played GTA. People just do crazy stuff from video games, but not all of them.
