Just saw it a few hours ago and it was FANTASTIC. I put it right up there with Spiderman 2 and Superman 2. The joker was absolutely brilliant with the way he was portrayed and had that nostalgic feeling to those batman fans. I thought they could've done better with the ending, it just wasn't as exciting to see as the rest of the movie. Nevertheless, it was a great movie. I was also lucky that my theater held some of the costumes and the bat-tank from the movie. I'll see if I can get some photos up later.

Personally, I think Christian Bale is one of the worst Batmans (Ranking up with even Clooney), he sounds terrible, he isn't intimidating, and he isn't how I imagine Bruce Wayne. I tried to focus my attention off of him during the movie, which was hard because it seemed the movie went on for a few more hours then it said.
Ledger, on the other hand did a good portrayl of The Joker.
Overall I really have to say this movie was good, but I'm just not feeling this vibe they are putting out with these Batman Movies.

just got back form seeing it, bloody good, i preferred hellboy 2, but ive been a hellboy fan since i was a wii lad of 9 in 97' and the comics first came out. ledger was great, again bale was terrible ,he sounds like a 12 year of pubescent boy putting on hi s"tough big boy voice"
-and its a bloody shame harvey dent/ two face isnt getting the press, he was the best role in the movie in my opinion, ledger was great but by the last 30 minutes of 3 hours of the joker i was kind of tired of him.

Ok, I've waited a whole extra week to see this film (was on holiday in Cyprus). I've just gotten back from the cinema this very second and all I can do is... O.O
Honestly, this film is truly a masterpiece like the reviews are saying. There's so much depth and hard work crafted into this film it's difficult to begin explaining. This film managed to keep me on the edge of my seat throughout the whole 2 hours. If anything that's probably my only criticism, as it doesn't give you many chances to take in what's going on all around. But thats also its plus, as it compells you to go out and watch this amazing film over and over again (I know I will). Everything is practically perfect, from Nolans creative vision and Zimmers intense score to all the casts spot on performances. Christ knows how the next Batman film will even come close to TDK, but if they even manage to get half as close it then I'll be suprised. Easily 5/5
Also, how many people in your cinemas gasped at the 'disapearing pencil' trick? I think literally everyone in mine did in unison. Only thing that worries me is that it'll become such an overused internet meme in the coming months, much like 'the cake is a lie'. Oh well.
