Are too many games relying on the success or overall hype of first person shooters in the west such as the "Call of Duty" series, or Halo series and if so, is this a good thing or bad thing for the market when it comes to developers trying something new and innovating such as Valkyria Chronicles or MadWorld.

Do you believe too many games are starting to use slow motion or time manipulation? It seems like it's a gimmick that is going to lose its novelty soon if it hasn't already.
also.
Question for Brad: Where's da gabagul?

There are many great games out there that aren't hyped up, and there are a lot of crappy games that are hyped beyond belief. With your years of experience in the video game world, do you have any preference on a game you would take first, a hyped one or a non-hyped one.

Drew from Kentucky (Xerotwo in chat) I'm concerned that most of these gaming companies create games for their "over-polished" graphics, rather than improving on their gameplay and storyline. Should they keep on going with this trend, or should they spend more time on improving their games?

Do you think with the amount of bombed titles last year companies are spending more work/time on games and hyping them less for this year (I.E. Red Faction: Guerrilla, Damnation etc...), or do you think that over-hyping and underdeveloping games will continue due to the time/money constraints companies have now?

When you look back at the advancement in games over the past 20 years since consoles were started, you can see how they have progressed in terms of graphics, length and complexity.
But can you see how much more they can progress, or do you think that they are nearing the peak in what developers can do or do you think that there is so much more possible???

With summer on the horizon one question always comes to mind. What's the game market going to be like? What do you guys think the summer will be like or even just the month of June in terms of new games and releases?

Hello there Brad, David, and Nick. Hoping that i can get some questions of mine answered.
If you could created your own game company, what would your first game be?
What will be the main focus of your company?Like would you want to focus on RPG's, music, or even a First Person survival dinosaur horror game?
Oh and, what would the name of your company be?

What do you think determines replay value in a game? Does it require multiplayer, multiple endings, addictive gameplay, or perhaps just an experience diffrent from any other game out there?
