Can you still block ads if you disable adblock? If not i found another solution that does. If you go to Tools > addons > adblock options you will see a list of all the filters you have. Turns out the problem was actually in the "easylist" not the "JTV" one. Specifically look for the filter called .justin.tv/meta/*.xml? in the easylist and uncheck that, apply and restart firefox. When I did this it allowed me to still block ads and not have the video have the error.
Thought I would share my solution as a way of thanks for showing me the ad filters in the firstplace.

^Your avatar gave me an idea.
Bradschach's Journal May 16, 2009: This site is afraid of me. I've seen it's true face. The channels are extended gutters and the gutters are full of crap, and when the bandwidth finally scabs over, all of JTV will drown. The accumulated lag of all their foreign television and illegal sports broadcasts will foam up about their waists, and all the admins and sponsors will look up and shout, "Click the ads!"...And I'll look down and whisper..."Adblock Plus."
They had a choice, all of them. They all could have followed in the footsteps of great sites, like 4Playerpodcast, or Youtube. Decent sites, who believed in a day's broadcast for a day's donations. Instead they followed the droppings of ustream and Mogulus and didn't realize that the trail led over a backlash until it was too late. Don't tell me they didn't have a choice.
Now, the whole site stands on the brink of being sold, staring down into broadcasting hell, all those advertisers, dating sites, and spyware links...and all of a sudden, nobody can think of a thing to advertise.

I've added the exception to the JTV filters, so the warnings about an overly agressive adblocker will be gone. The update should start filtering out in the next few hours. If your Adblock doesn't update on its own, Adblock Plus preferences->right click on "Filter subscription: JTV Filters"->"Update subscription now".
