the only thing that kind of intrigues me is the GTA game for the DS, everything else was a fail.

man 2 or 3 years ago sony came off as condescending blathering about the way "nothing on the market was like the motion sensor in there controller", microsoft had that dude with all the lame tattoos who would clap after the end of every sentence, and be the only one clapping. whilst shigsy comes on stage swinging a master sword with the mirror shield, or in a full tuxedo directing an orchestra.
now weve got regi basically saying, to quote penny arcade: "we are rich as fuck, heres a bunch of shit you dont care about", sony...well not the best, but they were actually showing decent gameplay footage, and for once Microsoft put on the best show, especially with a lot less of that sympathy clapping from earlier years.
-im going off on a tangent here, but to put put it bluntly, WHAT HAPPENED NINTENDO?!?

pretty simple, Nintendo has decided that they care more about money and releasing the redundant same ole same ole instead of taking a chance on something new.
I mean, I thought the reason of the wii was to have a "revolution" seems to me that they haven't really released many revolutionary games, at least ones that are worthy enough to talk about. especially from their showing it seemed like they don't care much.

yeah thats true. when the wii was first released it looked great, but aside from the first party ones like mario and mertroid its lineups gotten steadily more disappointing, i hated twilight princess compared to oot or wind waker. i had a wii, barely played it, last week traded it in for rock band and played that more in a week than i did in 2 months on my wii.
and dont get me started on freind codes...

Well, ive seen the Nintendo Conference very breifly, and heard much hate for it. Nintendo honestly dosen't have a clue, I can tell you that, by just owning a Wii. Heres the laydown
Freind Codes=Anonymous, but annoying, IM NOT GOING TO REMEBER 300 FREIND CODES.
WiiConnect24=The Nintendo server when you hook up to play online games.....Laggy as hell, and a peice of doodoo
Games=Ok...Mario...Metroid....Zelda....Ummm....A peice of plastic? a Remake of a game everyone is tired of?.....
Ive had thoughts of selling my Wii, I think I might go through with them.

Nostradamus prophesized many things, like the end of the world. But I bet one day he predicted the end of a shiny white (and little) box that would end from a conference. And I think he would have been right.
Because honestly, Nintendo has very few games on the Wii that are...well...not from them! And even so, many of the games are sequels...nothing new like Resistance or Gears of War.
Could this begin the Wii's recipe of failure? Time will tell...but the first ingredient was Nintendo's E3 conference.
