My home team is freaking far way but they are so intense and exhilarating to watch-I could never hate them, The Warriors. Also Hockey is an excitingly violent one now a days. I wish I could go more often to a game.

Either a lot of people think the Lakers are better than the Cavs or there are a lot of people from the LA region on this forum...
I got the Cavs. LeBron is playing at an outrageously high level. I think he's putting up one of the highest player efficiency ratings EVER (it's a fancy-schmancy statistic created by John Hollinger to judge the overall awesomeness of a player). And with Joe Smith the team really shored up the back-end of an already ferocious defense.
And, I think the Lakers will have a tougher time getting through the West than the Cavs will have getting through the East. Maybe if the Celtics were healthier (and younger --- the two states are related), the Cavs might have an issue. But with KG out, the Cavs will roll to the finals.
With all that said, I really hope the Rockets pull together to have a magical playoffs. At the very least, I just want them to get out of the first round. Boo Portland!

I could have sworn that Mutombo retired this past off-season because of how old he is. It sucks that this is how Mutombo's career will end but I think he'll get into the HOF and he can spend more time doing his humanitarian work.
I'm pissed because the Magic won't be on TNT and I don't have the NBA channel.

I'm rooting for the Cavs and the Rockets. I'm so sick of the Lakers and Celtics. I'm a New Jersey Nets fan and we don't have very much to cheer about anymore, so my mind on the baseball season right now.

I'm hoping for a Cavs-Lakers final with the Cavs taking the trophy.

The chances for the Celtics to win are getting slimmer every day now with even Powe out for the playoffs . I'm still hoping for the best tonight lol.
