Honestly, I was surprised how cold orlando was. I was expecting a hard game, in the first quarter it seemed like it was going to be, since they kept it tied and missed a few easy shots, both magic and lakers. Wonder if it was first time jitters, but we will see what happens in game 2. I hope the officials let the game play out a lot like they did today.

imo, now that the finals are underway and with the lakers taking game one, im going to say that it will be the magic in 6, maybe even 7 games. I only say that because the magic had a much tougher schedule through the playoffs than the lakers did and have really proven themselves throughout the playoffs with beating 2 of the best teams in the nba, the celtics and the cavs.

Wow horrible calls by the refs yet they get away with it
I mean it should be pretty obvious that this game is having tons of bad calls on the Lakers, for the most part. Seems like the Rockets vs Lakers all over again

I've been in Orlando for a week and I'm disgusted how the last game went. I wish Stan put Alston back in at some point before the end of the 3rd quarter, Nelson fouled Fisher before he made the 3-pointer toward the end of regulation, the Magic took another TO or passed the ball to Howard when he was covered by Bryant, and that Bryant was called for the elbow on Nelson in OT. This series shows that the Magic coaches and players need to develop more before they can win a championship. I'll watch every last game in the series because I still believe in the Magic.

In your face Magic fans... We win.. Fuck you. Congrats to the Lakers and I hope my Magic make it to the finals next year but don't screw up every winnable game. off topic: anyone else want to do a 4PP fantasy football league?

Eh Congrats Lakers. It wouldve been nice to deny Jackson his 10th so he wouldnt beat Red's record but oh well. I dunno it's kind of a pet peeve for me when someone says "we won" when it's not your home team. Hopefully my Celtics can pull off another 27-2 start and have a healthy team this time. ^o^
