Congrats Magic. Now I'm hoping for Magic over Lakers. *I didn't really care who went as long as the Lakers lose *

well... crap ikusa, you were right. looks like the lakers have this now. i just hope lebron gets a good team next year (whether the cavs [stupidly] trade, get good draft picks, or lebron leaves, i don't care).

If he can work on his jumps shots ad get someone else who consistently shoots the ball well they could get a shot at a championship.

The Lakers and Magic match up real good against one another so I'm looking for a 6 game series pending a collapse of either team or injury. The main problems I see for the Magic are Kobe and Gasol. I just hope that Howard still commands the paint against two 7 footers, Lewis and Turkoglu make enough shots, and that Pietrus and Lee give Kobe a tough time making shots. I would love for my Magic to win their first championship, have NBA fans realize what Dwight Howard and Stan Van Gundy are capable of, and have Orlando get some respect as an up-and-coming sports city.

It starts tonight Folks Lakers are up at the end of the 1st half. But as for my prediction on the series I say Lakers in 6 hard fought games though I'd rather the Magic win.

I'm surprised how cold the Magic are and that Nelson is playing. I just think that if the Magic start this cold in game two they should switch their lineup to Nelson, Pietrus, Turkoglu, Howard, and Gortat because the Lakes have a big team. Good game Lakers but I still think the refs are against the Magic.

I dont see how the refs are to be blamed to be honest. They let both teams play pretty hard, and fouls were being called equally through out. Howard went up to the line a lot, he just wasnt making it.

I dont see how the refs are to be blamed to be honest. They let both teams play pretty hard, and fouls were being called equally through out. Howard went up to the line a lot, he just wasnt making it. There were only a few bad calls throughout the game but they were only in the first quarter. I believe the Lakers played a great game and I'm not trying to take anything away from their 25 point win. I'll be the first person to say the Kobe is damn near unstable because he can make any shot even when two or three people are on him. Also, I won't mind if the Lakers win the series is because Kobe has been the best player in the NBA since MJ and because it would mean that the Magic lost to a better team.
