I can't wait to see some of the manga only things be animated. I would list them but I don't see any spoiler tags so I won't spoil it but I'll just say this, Briggs, Father, Envy.

Great first eps. It seems that the art style follows the manga better than the old anime did.

Really like the 1st episode. second one is up now aswell. I like in the first episode how they made you feel bad for the brothers, rather than in the old one i felt that they were stupid and kind of deserved it.

It's really good through on the first three episodes. one of them is a lot like one from the old one though, which kind of took me out of the experience of a "newer" one. |

The first Full Metal Alchemist anime follows closely to the manga until around the Greed story arc. From there is where the anime diverges from the manga story. So yes, a fair amount of the new anime is going to be what was in the first one because it was in the manga. |

As I said in my previous post everything leading up to the Greed arc is going to be just about the same as it was in the first anime because they were following the manga until that point. The second series, FMA: Brotherhood, is going to be strictly following the manga so YES, MANY of the upcoming episodes ARE going to be the same from the first anime. Maybe I'm just over exaggerating on how I read your post that I first replied to but I'm just trying to clarify this up for those that don't know it/haven't read the manga. So I apologize if I'm appearing to be too forceful on what I'm trying to get across.  |
