The J songs I like are usually from some anime opening or ending. I guess I'll just make a list of songs off the top of my head.
Asian Kung-Fu Generation - Rewrite Beat Crusade(rs) - Tonight, Tonight, Tonight Chaba - Parade STANCE PUNKS - I WANNA BE, No Boy No Cry Utada Hikaru - Mostly KH related, Tokyo Nights, etc Yoko Kanno - Tank, Various other animes.
Ah.. can't think of any others right now.

Only listen to two bands so far but they are ketchup mania and Berry Roll. I do have several opening and ending themes from anime that I listen to. A few are Cruel Angel’sThesis (Evangelion), Soramimi Cake (Azumanga Daioh), and Minna no Peace (Gurren Lagann).

I recently got clued into a band called "Bump of MonkeyChicken"...mostly through their song "K" (which, incidentally, made my cry like a little girl). I listened to a few of their songs, and liked them enough to pick up one of their albums off of iTunes.
