I don't know what I would do in real life if I was caught in such a situation. For all I know I'd most likely commit suicide than to be killed horrifically by a zombie or even suffer the fate of being one. In which case I would overdose on painkillers and other pills lying around, and then when I can feel no pain what so ever, I'd try to cut my head off with a huge ass kitchen knife (To prevent me from coming back as the undead. See, I always think ahead. No pun intended).

But realistically, the government would probably evacuate everyone to special camps and bases anyway if there was a zombie invasion. But, IF the military planned on doing sod all and IF there was an early warning of a zombie invasion and IF I did have a pair of balls to survive, this if what I would do:

- Gather a team of people and friends
- Go to the nearest, largest shopping centre (Yes, its a cliche but when you look at it logically that's the best place to be, mostly because of supplies. Man, where else can you get lethal weapons, changes of clothes, food rations, recreational stuff and high ground all in the same place?)
- Block off all ground entrances and exits.
- Collect everything we need
- Find an area where we can live for the time being, most likely the roof
- And when we have the spare time, go out of the safe area and start doing some Father Grigori sh*t and building deadly traps.

Then again, this is factoring in if the zombies are the slow, mindless nom nom nom type. If they're the type that are basically humans that are pissed off psychopaths like in 28 Days Later, then I'm going back to the suicide option again.

Assuming that would ever happen. A church. Why ? Churches usually have no fire exits. Every mall has loads and air shafts - a fest for half zombies. Of course one would need a LOT of supplies. As in clothes, fresh water and food. And to do that get jeeps and raid a shopping mall.
Another option would be a prison or a nuclear bunker. Since a bunker was built and prepared for situations like that.
Depending on the type of zombies I might would just kill myself. If it's the fast and hardcore-type like in I am Legend - I'm so gonna do a base jump with no parachute
