"Bevare Det Hvilke Gjorde Ikke Noe Inntrykk"
Chapter 3: Capital Punishment
Setting: Up scale meeting room, large marble table, four people sitting down
Voice From Intercom: This meeting will be monitored. This meeting is of Class B security, and any leaking of information if strictly prohibited. Proceed.
*Intercom shuts off*
Clone: Alright guys we have a pretty straightforward case this week, the community couldn't vote on this one because it's a Section IV, meaning it had to be passed up to us, under state's law.
*Clicks on projector, with a picture of a man punching a woman, with a one other person on the floor, hurt.*
Clone: At 6:32 AM a foreign man assaulted 3 men and 2 women in the G.D district, without any apparent provocation. This picture is a still of a security camera outside of a nearby building. The man is in custody, and refuses to tell us his name. We've done a background check, and as far as our city goes, he isn't a resident.
Ikusa: Any luck getting clearance for state wide background check?
Clone: No, it's not exactly top priority right now, with all the things going on.
Ikusa: I can't say I'm surprised.
Dave: Let's not get on a tirade about the state, we all have things to do.
Rabbeseking: I'd be pretty soft on the state if I was getting promoted to corporate, huh dave?
Clone: Come on rabbese...
Dave: *Scoffs*
*Room gets quiet for a second*
Ikusa: So.. we have three votes to kick him out permanently, and one vote to put him on probation of the city.
Dave: I wonder who's that could be? *sarcasm laced*
Clone: Being a humanitarian is bad? I don't want to kick the guy out of here forever is all, It just seems extreme.
Dave: Extreme for 5 counts of assault? Are you kidding?
Ikusa: He was charged with 2, we cant find witnesses to the other 3. Still, we have their word against his.
Clone: Which proves a case how? are we really taking their reliability into account? Law abiding citizens can lie, in case you forgot.
Rabbeseking: But why would they clone?
*Clone looks down at the floor and mulls it over in his mind*
Clone: Fine, he is to be exiled from this city, indefinitely.
Dave: Good, report it to cooperate, I'm heading home. I'll pick up my stuff on Monday.
*Dave Mutters Quietly: And finally be out of this godforsaken place*
*Ikusa gets up and exit's quietly*
Rabbeseking: See you later Clone.
Clone: Drive safely.
Rabbeseking: I will.

I've been writing for a couple years, ever since I had a Creative Writing class in high school. English teachers always said I was a good writer, so I took the class and got addicted to writing poetry. I write in a lot of different styles, but most of the time my poetry is pessimistic and dark, as you'll see. I'll try different things with structure too. In this once instead of isolating the lines like I usually do, I kinda wrote it all into one paragraph.
So, here's a poem that took me 15 minutes to find in my fricken' documents... Originally wrote sometime early 2008.
Purple Candy
Our dirty secrets, painted on these walls. And we’re burning our shadows to the ground. Stars blotted out from the sky. Conversation lost at the natural high. We’re making no progress. This speech must digress. Abort my words. Make them your own. Adopt your own fantasies. Take them home. We’ve got to hand it to you; We didn’t expect such a long fallout. We figured we’d find a cure. We honestly weren’t looking hard enough. Draw the curtains. Block the traffic. Quarantine this place. We’re burning shadows to the ground. And we’re making sure. We’re making sure rust doesn’t fall from the sky. We don’t wanna burn.

Illusions & Dreams.
Another day in the confinements of a jail. Staring at the etches in the wall that I made with a pen. Counting the days one after the other. Waiting for a release.
A small sigh, the jail doors open, the rays of sunlight break upon the sky, opening it all up.. But it brings nothing, the days are lonely. Not even the brightest light can shine in the dark.
Another trip to the lake. The ripples in the water reflect the dreams I wish for.. Something exciting finding it's away across the norm.. Stone after stone, flying across the beyond like I wish that I could.. Alone, I throw the stones, alone I dream.
This is my routine. I go to a jail to be alone, I go to a lake to dream about nothing. Then I go home to start it all over again. Would nothing cure me of this consistent insanity?
I visited the lake once more. Tossed a rock or two and watched it soar across the water. Hugging my knees together, I prayed silently for company.. And after such a moment of silence, someone listened.
A swan gently drifted over to where I was. Elated, I ran over to it.. I told it of my agony, I told it of my bliss.. It just smoothly floated across and listened to all I had to convey.. It cared as to who I was, it cared as to who I wanted to be. I wanted to embrace it.
But as I wrapped my arms around it, The beautiful silken dove whose feathers were as white as snow.. Disappeared into nothingness. Another dream of companionship had faded away..
Was the swan a figment of my imagination as well, Or was the swan just deceiving me.. Picking up a piece of driftwood, I grabbed another rock.
Day after day, I visited where I carved the wood And each day, I gave it a stroke with a stone. Day after day, I worked on that piece of wood, carving it..
Then the day finally came to pass, The piece of driftwood was crafted into a wooden swan. And when the swan was done, it was carried along.. To the jail, then to the lake, then to home again.
For even if the swan was a lie, it was the only company I had ever had.. And I would hold onto it's memory forever.

On the Menu
As Amelia and Antonio Tony, who are the two members of the wait staff at out late night diner, took off their clothes, they realized sexual intercourse was probably 'on the menu' tonight! "Excellent!" they said in unison. Well, almost in unison. Our man, Antonio Tony, was a little slow on that. It was because he was thinking of his taxes. "10 thousand dollars in taxes!" he thought. "That is a lot of money. Where am I going to find that much money?" Then Antonio Tony and Amelia had sexual intercourse. Their sexual intercourse was cut short, however, because Antonio Tony kept muttering, "Where am I going to find that 10,000 dollars, though?"

((Note: The Reverie Girl = red-haired woman in Aithne's thoughts. >> )) I wrote this for a literary roleplay I attend--SHUT UP, it's FUN--and I had a lot of trouble coming up with a specific backstory for this character, Miss Aithne Cathraldaga Ennes. This is what I came up with. There's more to it, but eh. I don't feel like re-writing the rest. Enjoy! ^-^
Rhia
Aithne was doing the final touch-ups within her family's bookstore, checking the inventory, dusting shelves and whatnot, when her father and two strange gentlemen approached. Obviously, Aithne reasoned, they were some of her father's acquaintances. But he had volunteered Aithne to sing something she'd written as a tribute to the snow. Where she had to sing it, she realized, was at the large Festival that was growing and compiling people upon itself at every waking second.
Aithne, one had to realize, was not the most sociable girl--she kept to herself and enjoyed it that way. Although, when provoked, she could prove to be the most well-mannered girl of their time. So asking her--rather telling her--to perform for thousands of people on a strange stage, in a new, foreign land, was a huge step from her typical day of sipping tea alone in a musty corner of the bookstore.
"But first," her father said to her, "I must have these two listen to the song. To ensure that it is acceptable for the Festival."
With trembling fingers and flitty eyes, she sang her song perfectly. A soft and gracious melody that engulfed her in an imaginary, hilly land of nothing but soft snow that crunched satisfactorily under unseen feet. Then, without warning, she saw her. A woman with long, bright red hair, smiling and holding her hand out for Aithne to take. But before Aithne could even begin to consider touching the woman's hand, the image had faded away along with the song.
And hot, passionate tears stung her face as she hastily excused herself from the group and fled the bookstore. Her father's two acquaintances looked on in awe and confusion. Upon asking about her reaction to her own song, her father explained the tragedy behind it.
Since Aithne was little, she was picked on by other girls nonstop in her small village. By the time Aithne was eight years old, she'd had enough. She ran to the tallest hill in the region--which was a good ten minutes from home--during the most intense blizzard of the season. She'd originally intended to flee there to weep in peace, however another idea to stay frozen in time came to her mind. So she stayed in the blizzard for a few moments--then a few moments longer--and a few more. Finally, she was "asleep". Or, at least, that's what Aithne's reverie girl said after Aithne had been rescued.
The Reverie Girl had risked being lost in the snow to the blizzard to find her fellow village member after eavesdropping on her clique's vile chatter about Aithne and how she had so mournfully fled them. Once found, it took the Reverie Girl over forty-five minutes to recover Aithne, making sure not to be lost in the storm, pulling her the entire way on the warm Rhine's coat her mother had lent her.
Once safely at home, the Reverie Girl waited for Aithne to awaken. Once awake, it took Reverie Girl over an hour to get Aithne to speak to her because of her health and timid personality. It was then Aithne learned the girl's name to be Rhia--a word for "snow" in Aithne's language. The two became close--closer than they'd ever expected to be--over the next few years.
Before Rhia's 40th birthday (in Vierichien years), she met a handsome young man from Thruufta named Cauli. Jealous of the time Rhia and Cauli spent together, Aithne turned to creativity to keep her mind from reminiscing about how she discovered Rhia and Cauli on their special hill, and many other hurtful things. It didn't take long for Rhia's heart to be broken by Cauli as he heartlessly went on his way, sweeping another snow-bred girl away to the city of Thruufta to be married.
When Aithne tried to reassure Rhia that all they needed was each other, Rhia responded, "I can't stay with you." They quabbled back and forth over the reason why Aithne wasn't a solution before Rhia went to her home to prepare for a dance being held for her birthday.
During the dance, dressed in an outfit fit for any snow-swept princess, she went scouting for her friend. Upon asking her friend's parents about Rhia's whereabouts, her parents informed her that they would have to stop the dance soon to announce Rhia to be missing.
Worried, Aithne begins to ask other dancers. One dancer hands her a note from Rhia, sealed tight with the seal of a snowflake. Inside it read: "Aithne, I do not wish to harm you with my words, but because you are so much like Cauli, we cannot be. Every time you console me, I hear Cauli's voice; your touch is as gentle as his own...and I can't stand it. I chose him not only for his looks, but because he was a version of you--someone everyone would approve of. But without him, I have nothing but you: a hope and promise that will never come to touch my hand. So I bid you farewell. Maybe we shall be reunited elsewhere."
Aithne, in a fit of hurt and frightened passion, fled into the snow without her coat, tears leaving their marks in the snow as she passed by. Just like it was when Rhia rescued her, the blizzard was harsh to the skin and abrasive to the soul, something one would have to be careful trekking in. With her dress shoes, it took Aithne ages to claw her way up the hill, falling and struggling to pull her shoes out of the snow to reach the top--the whole while calling Rhia's name in gasping sobs.
Standing atop of the hill, she cupped her hands and cried out Rhia's name, praying for an answer. She walked slowly along the hill until she spotted Rhia's frozen body, sitting contently underneath a coating of snow.

Pretty well detailed satu. And not in that corny way you see in a lot of rps. I like it. You are very talented when it comes to descriptions.
What rp are you in? because this kicks the ass of anything i've seen.

Breaching Sanity
Amongst the snow and trees The silence makes me want to scream Just to see if anything Will scream back at me Isolated from all life I walk along the snow covered path Hoping to find the answers Hoping to find Salvation My mental state Leaves me But not with people around Alone the only time I’m sane I must stay alone, Until I find the curse, And eliminate it for all I’ve sat for seasons No answers came Just the feeling that I’m almost there Like the feeling before a wreck Like being a gun point The whole world breathing down my neck So I run I must run Or they’ll see the untrue me Rabid with anger, Unknown as to why I know they’re looking But I must keep hiding Or I’ll kill again So I wait Wait until the answers Wait until I have to run again Wait until I have sanity back And I can hold my baby boy again Until that day I’ll dream whilst I wake (no sleep comforts me) And wait... Wait.... Wait.... Wait.
(Once more poem that I consider some of my best work. I wrote it two years ago when I was still in my Creative Writing class, so I wrote daily.)
Wreck
There’s a car crash Inside my very mind That signifies my sanity
Right now my mind is a wreck Metal entwined with more metal Broken glass scattered everywhere Upon abundance of flame
The victims in the crash Two girls Each in the two separate vehicles
Each broken hearted By the same man Each sobbing into their own arm as they collide
That man was me
Now as the rubber melts The shattered remains of my sanity Come to save whom ever came out alive
But the mess was so great No one could tell who it was So they sat
As they both burned

Thank you, Travis and Wednesday! ^-^
The RP is in a site called keiichianimeforever.com/boards . It hosts a lot of RPs there, but this particular one really allowed me to learn some more literary techniques and stuff. The RP is based off of the books "1984" and "The Giver", if you want to know.

The little diddy I posted earlier is the general backstory of the girl described here. I decided to show off this short introduction of my now-favorite character. I'm just proud of how well it came out and wanted to share it. It is rather long, so prepare yourself.
~*~
Aithne’s stained-glass blue eyes fluttered open as the pastel-yellow light crept into her modest room. It kissed her shelf of teddies and other stuffed animals gently on the toes and tummies, seeming to highlight their smiles and poofy cheeks that dominated the essence of cuteness.
Her Toscana vanity was also highlighted by the pale sunlight, the floral-patterned bench looking quite inviting and warm, the bottle of different colored sands Aithne had found as a child set towards the edge of her vanity. There were a few necklaces hanging from the tri-fold vanity mirror, twinkling in the sunlight. They made quiet tink-ing sounds because of the breeze coming through her open window. Her father had told her to be cautious about opening her window before she went to bed, but she thought that her family had nothing of value that any two-bit thief would want. There were few perfumes that resided on her dresser, and nothing else—she saw no need for makeup, so she didn’t have any near her room. The kidney-shaped vanity seemed to reflect her personality—quiet, yet demanding attention all the same, whether it wanted it or not.
She turned her head to look at the Toscana vanity, observing as the vanity mirror happily mimicked Aithne’s sleepiness. She stayed comfortable and quiet underneath her blue-and-pink covers, smiling at the matching sheets and pillows. It was all so soft and fluffy—if her mind would let her, she would’ve stayed in bed all day. But that would’ve been quite the waste of time. She cuddled herself underneath the sheets and covers one last time, reliving the pleasantness of her sleep before slowly pulling herself up into a sitting position.
It took her a moment to shake off that lazy sleepiness that haunted her senses, holding her hostage in the bed. She was finally able to get out of bed, wearing her silky silver nightgown, and made her way to her matching Toscana armoire. She opened it to see various dresses, belts, and shoes all neatly arranged in their separate drawers and on belt hooks and so forth. Today, she decided to wear a blue, short-sleeved, V-necked shirt and a very colorful, full-length skirt. She slipped her delicate feet into black flats with simple bows on the tops, and put a simple butterfly clip into her hair.
She decided to only take enough coins to purchase a small breakfast and perhaps a snack for lunch. She crossed the room, reaching her vanity dresser. She took a small metal wire sitting near the edge of her dresser and opened the cork that was wedged in the jar of multicolored sand. Taking the wire, she fished out an antique-looking—and very sandy—key. She used the key to open a part of her vanity dresser, filled with nothing but money she’d saved up since she was a small girl. She pulled out three large silver coins. That’d be enough, she thought. She put them in a tiny silver coin purse and locked the vanity dresser up, hiding the key deep inside her multicolored sand bottle.
She stood and rearranged her room, making her bed and closing her window before heading out the door. She kissed her mother good morning as she used a special hook to latch her coin purse to her skirt. “Oh! Aithne. Dear…”
Aithne‘s bright smile brightened even moreso at the sound of her mother‘s voice. “Yes, Mummy?”
“Try and make a friend today.”
Aithne gave her mother a gentle smile, shaking her head, then tilting it to one side. “Mother, I’m not that wonderful at making friends. You know that.”
“Never hurts to try.”
Aithne shrugged. “For you, I’ll try.” She was just about out the door before her mother’s gentle voice called her back.
“I thought you wanted to take your candy samples out today?”
“Oh! Thank you, Mummy.” She rushed back to the kitchen and fetched the large tin canister of candies she’d fixed the night before. It was decorated carefully with the hand of a calligraphist—her mother’s—with the words “Sweets” in big, purple letters. She pulled the top off and set it down on their mahogany kitchen table before setting out the door. “I’m off!”
“Goodbye!” She heard from inside the house, “And make a friend!”
“Yes, Mummy.” She turned away from the house and began walking towards the schoolhouse, realizing that there were many people staring at her. Was something wrong? She checked herself and noticed that a child had been following her. She turned about and crouched down, smiling up at the little boy. “Hello, there.”
“Ma’am?”
“Yes?”
“Can I have a…?” He hesitated and pointed coyly at the tin canister. “…may I have a candy?”
Coy children struck a powerful chord in Aithne’s heart, reminding herself of her trials as a little girl without the confidence of a class clown. “Of course you may. Take some to your mummy and daddy, too, okay?”
The little boy beamed and took three candies, thanking her, and ran to meet his parents. They smiled as they took the candies and waved to Aithne. Aithne froze, blushing a furious red. She waved back, shaking all over. Please go away, she thought, Don’t come near me.
As if hearing Aithne’s wishes, the family left, nibbling on the delectable treats. She sighed with relief before standing up again. She was bumped into by a young man, who was walking backwards, speaking with someone.
He turned on his heel to face her. “Hey, watch it!” Aithne flinched and recoiled from him. He suddenly realized he was snapping at a girl, not some careless man. “Oh…oh, forgive me, I—” In a sparkling mist of silver, Aithne was gone, tin canister and all. “Ah? Where…?” Aithne was still in front of him—the only thing was she was invisible to him now. She moved out of his way as she watched the magic of her soul gift take place. He hummed happily, strutting as if nothing had ever happened. Bystanders who had also gotten caught in the silver mist had a look of serenity in their faces, but only for a quick moment. After a while, they looked at one another and asked, “what was that?” and “did you feel that?”
Something Aithne was used to now.
She continued her way through the crowd, still unseen, until she finally made her way to her favorite café. The silver mist enveloped her body once again, slowly revealing her body to the company of her fellow café-goers. They waved to her as if it were a normal thing to see a young girl appear from thin air. She walked up to the counter and put her container of sweets down. She ordered an orange-flavored tea and a muffin, not daring to look the young man in the face. The first time she did, he happened to be in a bad mood—what if she had caused his bad mood? She didn’t want to see what she’d done to his day.
“Here you go, love,” he said gently, placing the tea and muffin on a table for her. “You have a good day today, all right?”
Blushing, she gripped the edges of the wooden counter. “Y…you, too.” She shakily made her way to her table—the one in the corner right next to the window—and took a sip of her tea. She watched the people pass by and listened to them chatter, even eavesdropped on the café-goers listening to them whisper about how quiet she was, what a good girl she was.
She blushed again, still not used to receiving compliments from complete strangers. Thruufta was such a strange place. Would she ever get used to it?

As some of you might know, I really want to become a professional writer as a future career. I'm working on a Monster Hunter fanfic and I'm really taking my time with it since it is my first take on creative writing. I feel that fan fiction is great practice for inventing characters and dialogue building since the world is already created. I'm pretty much done with chapter 1 and need to rewrite it to spruce it up a bit and make it seem more professional since I hand wrote it at 10pm. I'll be posting it sometime this week so please give me constructive criticism when I do. I would really appreciate it. EDIT: It will have to wait till next week, I got family over. EDIT AGAIN: It's not going to be finished, I'm working on something else now

Okay, this is one giant poem that was originally two seperate poems. But I wrote this one not to long ago. About a year ago, late last year. Here goes, it's called ''I'm A Seal''
I'm tired of the soreness,
I get on my feet, I'm tired of the back pains,
I'm sick of the heat,
I hate the food,
I hate the things that I hear,
I hate the way they say we've suffered defeat,
I hate the president,
And the way that he leads,
I hate that we have no Bible to read,
I miss my family,
I miss my friends,
I hate the way that they say it never will end,
I wish I could see my Wife and Kids face,
I'm tired of hunting someone we just can not trace,
I'm tired of war, I'm tired of death,
I'm sick of the way the bombs make us go deaf,
They don't understand,
The way that I feel,
Like in my last poem,
They'll never understand,
A Navy Seal
You complain it's hot when it's only 85,
When here it always stays 109,
In the Armory I see rounds,
But in the field they're on the ground,
There are snipers from East to West,
Looking down their scope hoping to get the chest,
You swim in your pool,
While we swim in our sweat,
You eat what you want,
We eat what we get,
You get options,
We get commands,
We only supply,
We can't demand,
In our enemies eyes they see a zero,
While in your eyes you see a hero,
You come home after work,
But our work is never done,
We serve our country,
And live by our Gun,
I will shoot the enemy,
Before the enemy shoots me,
Coming home alive,
Is something to see,
Until you step into our shoes and see how we feel,
You'll never understand a Navy Seal.
