Hey that looks great. I've always been envious of those who can draw. Me, I'm a dab hand at computer artistics etc but actual pen and paper, I'm useless.

Thanks! Haha, my friend was helping me on this a little bit.. telling me if I should shade/highlight something. :3 I love drawing on paper and on the computer!

Anyways, this is an updated version of the pic--

i really like the shading of the skin.
the position of the sternum (actually it's the manubrium~) is a bit off to the right, but that can be fixed by making the person lifts up the right shoulder and looked to the right.
the hair has the potential to get messy so be careful with that.
lower curvature of the lower lip looked to be a bit too low, potentially making the lower lip look fat~

Overall satisfied with the pic so far, just some tiny details that i think you could work on.

P.S. Is there a way to quote a big picture but minimise it in the quotation so it doesn't take up much space?

ok, first of all, try to work on your outline, the edge on the right hand side of the neck just looks unnatural.
the lighting on the hair is a bit murky, it's a bit too obvious for th general tone, and i think you applied it to areas that aren't suppose to reflect light (e.g. bottom right corner). and what's with that block of non reflection in the middle? it's just looks too unnatural for me XD
lastly, i am guessing the light shines directly onto the face, so there shouldn't be such a big reflection from the back of the head.

There are just a few things to fix up, but i think maybe you should start the white bit again with less opacity

Some creature, I named it birdie.
