Well I use this rather then one of those Dazzle things.. And it's only £14/$30 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/USB-Audio-Video-Re....93%3A1|294%3A50

Those are fine too. Not every device is meant for 1 thing, so broadcasting could use a lot more then just one device.

No I know, but for those on a budget.....

Do you really have to pay for something like that just to mix both the mic and the TV audio? There's no online programs that can do that?

Software can't mix around hardware except for Stereo Mix which I don't know how to use on Vista. Ask darknezz if you're on XP.

How do you get the RCA from the TV to the DVR?

Your TV needs video out. look for that on the back of your tv. Connect the corresponding colored cables from the TV into the corresponding cables on the back of the DVR.

wait I have a question. I'm using Windows Vista and I don't need a mixer atm. the only problem is Flash Media Encoder won't recognize my capture card for an audio device. all I see if stereo mix and microphone :/ but when i use the program that came with the capture card I get audio and video, now I'd just do stereo mix with the audio BUT I cant preview the audio only on that program, and i can't use 2 programs with the capture card or both the video feeds flicker on and off.

I just want to know if there is a program that lets me preview audio only from my capture card. then i can just use stereo mix. BTW I'm using a Laptop so I dont have a line in port. only microphone port and headphone port which i dont think is line in.

Help plz :(
