I've been to the Vent channel a couple of times and it was empty every time I joined.

Yes definitely. Ventrilo is better at several ways. including using less resources, clearer quality, less ping, etc.

Skype is a lot easier to use, and constantly has people in there

Stick around for a few minutes, people might join. I have countless times had people connect, see just me in there, and then leave 'cause I didn't say "hi" fast enough. It bugs the crap outta me. Skype is not easier use. They're about the same. And the "constantly has people in it" is bullshit, because Skype doesn't use servers, it uses a friends list that you call people with. Yes definitely. Ventrilo is better at several ways. including using less resources, clearer quality, less ping, etc. This man knows what he's saying. |
